As an Operations Associate, Ryan supports operations at A. J. Brooker Financial Associates by evaluating technology solutions to strengthen our efforts to support our clients.  Never shying away from an opportunity to help, you can catch Ryan training coworkers on using secure technology, researching solutions to make more room on our plates for clients, and supporting clients as they engage with our systems.

In line with a company-wide culture of giving back and paying it forward,  Ryan can’t say “no” to helping out in the church kitchen during and after social hour; it’s a great way to get to know other congregants better because everybody eventually comes through the kitchen.  In addition to pitching in whenever A. J. Brooker Financial Associates lends its elbow grease to Harvest Hope Food Bank and the Palmetto Project’s annual Families Helping Families events, Ryan believes in supporting church-sponsored get-out-the-vote efforts leading up to elections.  Wherever Ryan is available, you can find him engaging with More Justice, supporting efforts to help make the Midlands of South Carolina a more just and equitable place for all its residents.

When Ryan’s not working or volunteering, he’s out for a casual hike at a nearby nature preserve, visiting a South Carolina beach when the weather is right, trying to master his favorite tabletop game, or playing with tech.  Ryan believes any drive is made much better when accompanied by audiobooks or a comedy podcast.
